# carrier activate

This command activates a device carrier slot.

## Usage

```plaintext
carrier activate --id ID
```

## Required Parameters

| `--id ID` | Specify the slot ID. |
| --- | --- |

## Example

This example shows activation of slot 2:

```plaintext
vcli: admin> carrier activate --id 2
```
