# Deleting Quotas

**NOTE**: Deleting a quota that is included in a quota group is not allowed.

## Deleting Quotas in VAST Web UI

1. From the left navigation menu, select Element Store and then Quotas.
2. In the Quotas page that opens, right-click the quota you want to delete and select Remove.
3. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.

## Deleting Quotas in VAST CLI

To delete a quota, run the [quota delete](/docs-5-3/docs/quota-delete) command.
