# group delete

This command deletes a group from the local provider.

##### Usage

```plaintext
group delete  --id ID
```

##### Required Parameters

| `--id ID` | Specify the VAST ID of the group to be deleted. |
| --- | --- |

##### Example

```plaintext
vcli: admin> group delete --id 69
```
