# kafkabroker delete

This command deletes a Kafka [event broker configuration](/docs-5-3/docs/en/publishing-events-to-third-party-event-brokers) from the VAST cluster.

## Usage

```plaintext
kafkabroker delete --id ID
```

## Required Parameters

| `--id ID` | The ID of the Kafka broker configuration that you want to delete. |
| --- | --- |

## Example

To delete Kafka broker 2:

```plaintext
vcli: admin> kafkabroker delete --id 2
```
