# dbox add

This command adds a DBox to the cluster.

## Usage

```plaintext
dbox add --cluster-id CLUSTER_ID
         --dnode-ips DNODE_IPs
        [--empty-box]
        [--migrate-target]
        [--lab-deploy]
        [--no-hardware-management]
        [--rack-name RACK_NAME]
        [--rack-unit RACK_UNIT]
```

## Required Parameters

| `--cluster-id CLUSTER_ID` | Specify cluster ID. |
| --- | --- |
| `--dnode-ips DNODE_IPs` | Specify the bond IPs of the DNodes. Separate the IPs with a comma. |

## Options

| `--empty-box` | Without SSD and NVRAM devices (for D-Box replacement). |
| --- | --- |
| `--migrate-target` | D-Box will act as a D-Box migration target (has SSDs and NVRAMs). |
| `--lab-deploy` | Execute in lab deploy mode (lab only!). |
| `--no-hardware-management` | Alias for `--lab-deploy`. Execute in lab deploy mode (lab only!). |
| `--rack-name RACK_NAME` | Specify the rack name. |
| `--rack-unit RACK_UNIT` | Specify the rack unit. |

## Example

This example shows how to add a DBox with specified DNode bond IP addresses to cluster 1:

```plaintext
vcli: admin> dbox add --cluster-id 1 --dnode-ips 12.1.1.11,12.1.1.12
```
