# Deleting a Bucket

The [delete_bucket()](https://boto3.amazonaws.com/v1/documentation/api/latest/reference/services/s3.html#S3.Client.delete_bucket) method deletes a bucket. All objects in the bucket must be deleted before the bucket can be deleted.

## Example

    Bucket='mybucket'
