# ebox add

# 

Add a new EBox.

## Usage

```plaintext
ebox add --enode-ip IP
        [--cluster-id CLUSTER_ID]
        [--rack-name NAME]
        [--rack-unit UNIT]
        [--skip-everything]
```

## Required Parameters

| `--enode-ip IP` | Specifies the bond IP of the ENode. This IP is used to connect to the EBox to configure it. |
| --- | --- |

## Options

| `--cluster-id CLUSTER_ID` | Specifies the cluster ID. |
| --- | --- |
| `--rack-name NAME` | Specifies the rack name. |
| `--rack-unit UNIT` | Specifies the rack unit. |
| `--skip-everything` | Skips hardware discovery and OS upgrade. **NOTE**: This option is available in VAST Cluster 5.4.4 and later. |

## Example

Add an EBox using the specified ENode IP.

```plaintext
vcli: admin> ebox add --enode-ip 12.1.1.11 --cluster-id 2    
```
