# cluster set-drive-fw-upgrade

This command enables or disables [automatic firmware upgrades](/docs-5-4/docs/en/automatic-upgrade-of-drive-firmware) for newly discovered non-active drives.

## Usage

```plaintext
cluster set-drive-fw-upgrade --cluster-id ID
                             --enable|disable
```

## Required Parameters

| `--cluster-id ID` | The ID of the cluster where you want to enable or disable automatic firmware upgrades. |
| --- | --- |
| `--enable` | Enables automatic firmware upgrades on newly discovered non-active drives. |
| `--disable` | Disables automatic firmware upgrades on newly discovered non-active drives. |

## Example

To enable automatic firmware upgrades on cluster 1:

```plaintext
vcli: admin> cluster set-drive-fw-upgrade --cluster-id 1 --enable
```
