# manager join

This command assigns a certain role to a VMS manager user.

## Usage

```plaintext
manager join --id ID
             --role-id ID
```

## Required Parameters

| `--id ID` | Identifies the manager to which to assign a role. |
| --- | --- |
| `--role-id ID` | Identifies the role to be assigned to the manager. |

## Example

To assign role 8 to manager 3:

```plaintext
vcli: admin> manager join --id 3 --role-id 8
```
