# identitypolicy delete

This command deletes an identity policy.

> [!NOTE]
> Note
> 
> You cannot delete an identity policy that was replicated from an async replication peer.

##### Usage

```plaintext
identitypolicy delete --id ID
```

##### Required Parameters

| `--id ID` | Specifies which identity policy to delete. To retrieve policy ID numbers, run [identitypolicy list](/docs-5-4/docs/en/identitypolicy-list). |
| --- | --- |

##### Example

```plaintext
vcli: admin>  identitypolicy delete --id 10
```
