# Modifying Views

## Modifying Views via VAST Web UI

1. From the left navigation menu, select Element Store and then Views.
2. Right-click the view you want to edit and select Edit.
3. Review and change the view settings as appropriate. For detailed information about each setting, see [Creating Views](/docs-5-4/docs/en/creating-views-tg). Creating Views

Note the following;

  - If the view has [ABAC](/docs-5-4/docs/en/attribute-based-access-control-abac) tags assigned to it, you cannot select protocols that are not supported with ABAC (e.g. NFSv3 and S3).
  - If the view was already configured with an SMB share, you cannot modify the SMB share name.
4. Click Update to save your changes.
