# Monitoring Volumes

VAST Cluster allows for [live monitoring](/docs-5-4/docs/en/monitoring-views-tg) of block volumes.

To enable or disable live monitoring for a volume:

- In VAST Web UI, right-click the volume in the Element Store -> Volumes page and select Toggle Monitoring to toggle monitoring on or off.
