# quotagroup assign-quotas

**NOTE**: This command is available starting with VAST Cluster 5.4.3.

This command adds quotas to a quota group.

## Usage

```plaintext
quotagroup assign-quotas --id ID
                         --quotas-ids IDs
```

## Required Parameters

| `--id ID` | The ID of the quota group to which you want to add quotas. |
| --- | --- |
| `--quotas-ids IDs` | A comma-separated list of IDs of quotas to be added to the quota group. **NOTE**: With VAST Cluster 5.4.3, only directory quotas can be included in a quota group. |

## Example

```plaintext
vcli: admin> quotagroup assign-quotas --id 1 --quota-ids 2,5,7
```
