# ssd activate

This command activates an SSD.

## Usage

```plaintext
ssd activate --id ID
```

## Required Parameters

| `--id ID` | Specify the SSD ID. To list SSD IDs, use the [ssd list](/docs-5-4/docs/en/ssd-list) command. |
| --- | --- |

## Example

This example shows activation of SSD 2:

```plaintext
vcli: admin> ssd activate --id 2
```
