The IO metrics include average bandwidth, IOPS and metadata IOPS for read and/or write operations, and also statistics on objects along the data flow path, and ROW operations on Databases. ![HoverOverObjectInDataFlow.png](https://cdn.us.document360.io/89b91113-5dc6-49db-86ec-57b16dc8ce56/Images/Documentation/img-6cc61455702f65c074ebf16dad7ebeec(6).png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-08T10%3A12%3A44Z&se=2026-11-08T11%3A12%3A44Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=DgULqcx%2FXimpZLGc3mbJANeaqM9V%2FMNPv4mfTxPa4mc%3D) The metrics displayed when you hover over an object reflect the aggregated flows included based on the sample period and the selected filters. They are recalculated when you [change the sampling period](/docs-5-4/docs/en/changing-the-data-sampling-period), [sort the flow points](/docs-5-4/docs/en/sorting-data-flow-points), or change the [limit](/docs-5-4/docs/en/limiting-the-number-of-displayed-data-flow-points-in-each-column). However, they are not recalculated when the object is pinned or the paths through the data flow point are isolated as described in [Focusing on Specific Data Flows and Objects](/docs-5-4/docs/en/focusing-on-specific-data-flows-and-objects).
