# vippool reallocate

# vippool reallocate

This command reallocates Virtual IP (VIP) addresses for a VIP pool by adding new IPs or removing existing IP ranges.

## Usage

```plaintext
vippool reallocate --id ID
                  [--ip-ranges-to-remove IP_RANGES]
                  [--ips-count-to-add COUNT]
```

## Required Parameters

| `--id ID` | Specify the VIP pool ID. |
| --- | --- |

## Options

| `--ip-ranges-to-remove IP_RANGES` | Specify IP ranges to remove in the format `<start IP>,<end IP>`. Separate multiple ranges with a space. |
| --- | --- |
| `--ips-count-to-add COUNT` | Specify the number of new IPs to allocate to the VIP pool. |

## Example

This example shows how to allocate 5 additional IPs to VIP pool 1:

```plaintext
vcli: admin> vippool reallocate --id 1 --ips-count-to-add 5
```
