# role delete

This command deletes an administrative role.

#### Usage

```plaintext
role delete --id ID
```

#### Required Parameters

| `--id ID` | Specifies which role to delete. |
| --- | --- |

#### Example

This example deletes the role with ID 5.

```plaintext
vcli: admin>  role delete --id 5
```
